STATEMENT OF FAITH AND CONDUCT

  1. The Bible is divinely inspired and infallible Word of God and is authoritative in all matters of Life ( 2 Timothy 3: 16-17, Hebrews 4: 12).
  1. There is one God, externally existent in three persons: God, the Father; God, the Son; God, the Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4, Genesis 1:26. 3:22, 11:5-7, 1 John 5:7).
  1. The Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God (Matthew 3:17). He was born of a virgin (Matthew 1:23).  He worked miracles (Acts 10:38), He lived a sinless life (Hebrews 4:15) which He willingly submitted unto death, the death of the cross (Philippians 2:7-8).  Christ shed His Blood as an eternal sacrifice for the remission of sins (Hebrews 10:12, 1 John 1:7) and our redemption to God (Hebrews 9:11-14).  He was buried, bodily resurrected (1 Corinthians 15:1-4), ascended to the right hand of the Father (Acts  2:33, Acts  7:55, Romans  8:34) and He will personally return (Acts 1:9-11) in all of His power and Glory (Mark 13:26) as King of Kings (1 Timothy 6:15) and Supreme Judge (2 Timothy 4:1, 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10).
  1. The Millennial reign of Jesus Christ on the earth is promised in the scriptures and is the blessed hope of the world (Revelation 11:15-16, 20:6-7).
  1. The only means of cleansing from sin and total salvation is through repentance toward God (Luke 24:47, Acts 20:20-21, Acts 17:30-31) and faith in Christ and in the Blood he shed for our redemption (Romans 3:24-25). Thus we commit ourselves completely to Him as Savior and Lord (2 Peter 1:10-11), resulting in regeneration by the Holy Spirit (Titus 3:4-7).
  1. Christians are to be baptized. Water baptism is an outward sign of an inward change.  It symbolizes our inclusion in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus.  Baptism always follows repentance and turning toward God through faith in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19).
  1. The present day ministry of the Holy Spirit empowers a Christian to live a Godly life (Ephesians 4:30, 5:18, 1 Corinthians 3:16, 6:19-20) and provides the administration of spiritual gifts and ministries of the Holy Spirit in the Church (Acts 2:1-4, 1 Corinthians 12:4-11).
  1. There will be a bodily resurrection of the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life (1 Corinthians 15:51-52, 1 Thessalonians 4:14-18) and the other to everlasting damnation (Daniel 12:2, John 5:28-29, Revelation 20:11-15, 31:8).
  1. A Christian is called to live by faith. “…faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1). “Without faith it is impossible to please God” (Hebrews 11:6).  Faith in God will bring results today (Mark 11:22-24).
  1. The redemptive work of Christ provides healing (1 Peter 2:23-24, Mark 16:17-10) and prosperity for the whole man – spirit, soul and body – (Philippians 4:19, 3 John 2) in answer to believing prayer (John 16:23).
  1. The Ministry is supernatural and at the same time is purely practical (1 Corinthians 12:28). The Ministry Gifts to the church as given by Christ and set (established) by God are Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher (Ephesians 4:8-11).  Their purpose is to prepare the Christian for service and to build the Body of Christ (the Church) until we all come into the unity of faith and knowledge of Christ (Ephesians 4:12-13).
