Pastor Morris was born-again in Houston, Texas in 1980. He has had an extensive background in business, marketing, and management for over ten years with Fortune 500 companies. After his conversion, he was called by God to leave his lucrative business career to go into the ministry.
Beginning in 1982, he has served as an Associate Pastor in three churches in Dallas, Chicago, and Merritt Island. In 1989, he established his first church as founding pastor in Palm Harbor, Florida. Today, he is establishing another church in Holiday, Florida. He was ordained in 1984 at Word of Faith Family Church in Dallas, Texas. He has completed his Bachelor of Theology Degree at Faith Theological Seminary in Tampa, Florida, and earned a Certificate of Completion for the Principal’s Seminar of the Association of Christian Schools International. In June 2003, he completed 240 hours of “Pastoral Consultation” in the Jack Hayford’s “School of Pastoral Nurture.”
His current ordination is through Faith Covenant Ministries. He has also served in various community organizations such as the Palm Harbor Chamber of Commerce, where he served as an Executive Board Member, Vice-President-Elect for the Palm Harbor Library and Recreation Services, and past Director of the Local Ministries Alliance.
